My Approach

Personal training and nutritional coaching is a profession to me, not just a job. My approach to my career is very straight forward: I CONSTANTLY research, read, and learn about the human body and use my knowledge to help clients become leaner, meaner human beings.
I invest in certification programs, degree programs, experiment with a universe of exercise regimens, and personally test the latest dietary guidelines to best understand what is “right” for me, my family and my clients.
I believe everyone has the ability to get the body they want as long as they are willing to work for it. If you were a strong athlete in your younger years, there is absolutely no reason you can’t be a strong athlete today. If you struggled with your weight your whole life and think being overweight is your “natural” body type, I’m here to say you are wrong. I don’t make excuses for myself and I don’t let my clients make excuses either.
I rely on a combination of strength, cardiovascular and flexibility training to build a strong foundation for a lean, healthy body. I consult my clients on the best foods and nutrients to fuel their lives. And I consult on factors not normally considered in a typical diet: sleep, social pressures, and career stress.
But at the end of the day, you should have the body you want AND be able to enjoy your life. So pulling all of these elements together is no small task, and that is why you want a dedicated professional to help you on your journey.
But rather than take my own word for it, I invite you to take a look at a few of my clients who are featured on my Blog: Shane, Stacey and Crystal. Their stories, and my personal struggle with health which is detailed on my “About Me” page, should give you a more complete picture of my approach.
Whether you hire a personal trainer or take your health matters into your own hands, I believe everyone is worth the investment!
